My Digital Experience team delivered the digital experience for Southwest’s launch of Wanna Get Away Plus—a new fare product that fills the gap between the value-focused Wanna Get Away fare and the premium Anytime fare.

The new fare product offers customers more flexibility without the premium price:

  • Transferable Flight Credit - Option to transfer your credit to another Rapid Rewards Member
  • Same-day change eligibility - Flexibility to adjust travel plans
  • 8 Rapid Rewards points per dollar - Enhanced earning compared to the base fare

Enhanced Premium Fares

Alongside the new product, we also enhanced existing fares:

Anytime Fare Enhancements:

  • EarlyBird automatic check-in now included
  • Priority and Express Lane access
  • New option for Transferable Flight Credit
